Post No. 019 : Arthur's Email : 5775.04.19

I do not know what you were doing on July 4th but I worked a bit and hiked a lot.  In fact, I hike every evening.  There is something about walking on the Earth that seems to draw out the daily wear and tear and replace it with new thoughts and feelings.  And, sometimes I will just sit down in the dirt and write in my book, to remember what I was thinking.

So this July 4th, while hiking, I was thinking of what being connected to the Earth meant...
To me it means that you can smell the rain before getting wet or... catching the scent of the first day of Spring's arrival, in the morning, while there is still snow on the ground to walk on.

Then I was thinking about what it means to be connected to yourself, which is really just another definition of intuition, and knowing each part of yourself so well that time is not a barrier or a sequence of events, but rather everything laid out all at once, ready to be accessed when you are completely connected to all of yourself, on all levels.

Then the rain came and I started thinking about the power of lightening and how, if we knew the exact moment and place it would strike, we could capture and harness it's energy and... how powerful that would be...to capture and harness the power of all the lightening which struck the earth.

What if we could cast a lightening harnessing net over the entire earth so that then, we would not need to know the time and place of it's strike.  We could constantly be capturing and harnessing it’s power all the time.  Maybe we could all live off the grid then :)

Lightening is like our personal inspiration.  We never know when or where it will strike.  All we know is that when it does, it sure is powerful, sometimes goosebump powerful.

And what if we could capture that, harness it and keep it in our life... having it at our disposal to use whenever needed or wanted?

Well, we can.  The net we use for that is the journal we always have with us and the way we capture it is with a pen or pencil.

It is how we harness the power in our life... by capturing, in our journal, all that lightening which strikes us and then keeping it's power ready and waiting for our personal use whenever we need it.

Our Lightening Journal, an archive of personal inspiration at our fingertips.

Deepak Chopra writes,

"Why do we try so hard to learn when all we have to do is remember"

And that is what writing in a journal is all about.  It is a choice to remember, because to not write something down is, by default, the choice to forget it.

If you don't have a journal that you carry with you everywhere then you are letting your power strike and then vanish.

Don't leave home without one!
